Ideally, it’s best to avoid having a facial and an eyebrow wax (or tint & wax) on the same day, especially if active products are used in the facial.
However, if you need them carried out on the same day, we recommend booking the facial first and then the wax afterwards. This order helps minimise any skin sensitivity around the brows.
Our team will avoid using active products around the eyes if you book your wax after a facial. If you’re unsure, please call the salon, and we’ll be happy to advise you on the best approach.

Special Consideration for Clients with Blood Clots: If you have a history of blood clots or are currently experiencing one, please consult with your healthcare provider before booking a massage treatment with us. Massage therapy can be risky in such situations, and for your safety, we require a doctor’s note confirming that the treatment is safe for you. Our team is eager to offer a relaxing experience, but we must prioritise your health and safety.
Caring for Our Clients with Cancer: To our clients undergoing cancer treatment or living with cancer, we extend our support and understanding. Since special care is necessary, please consult with your healthcare provider about which treatments are safe for you at our salon. We request a doctor's note specifying the treatments you can safely receive. We are dedicated to providing a comforting and secure environment, adapting our services to your specific needs with the utmost care.
Clients on Medication: For those taking medication, we ask that you also bring a doctor's note confirming that the treatments you wish to receive at our salon are safe for you. This helps us ensure that we provide you with the best care possible without interfering with your medication's effectiveness.
We value your health and comfort above all. Please inform us of any specific health concerns or conditions, and we will do our utmost to accommodate your needs in the safest and most comfortable way possible.
During your first trimester, we advise against having a facial. After this period, you're welcome to book a facial appointment. Please inform your therapist that you are pregnant so they can select the most suitable products for your skin.
Please note, the Pro Power Peel treatment is not recommended during pregnancy.
It's essential to wait a minimum of 6 months after completing your Roaccutane treatment before undergoing any exfoliating facial treatments. This waiting period ensures your skin has adequately recovered and can safely tolerate the treatment.
Botox: You must wait 7-14 days after receiving Botox before you can have a facial. This waiting period allows the treatment to fully settle, ensuring the best possible results.
Fillers: Similarly, a waiting period of 7-14 days is recommended after you receive fillers before undergoing any facial treatments. This precaution helps to avoid complications and allows the fillers to integrate smoothly with your facial structure.
You should have received an aftercare leaflet with specific recommendations post-treatment. If you have any doubts or questions, please consult with the professional who administered your Botox or filler.
If you're under 16, you must have parental consent and a parent must be present during the treatment.
If you or your child are dealing with acne, blocked pores, or breakouts, we can help with our Dermalogica Clear Start range. This range is specially formulated for younger clients aged nine and up, including teens.
We use all Dermalogica products for our Facials. We offer ProSkin 60, ProSkin 30, Pro Power Peel 30, Pro Power Peel 60 and Teen Skin Treatmentst.
We use both Professional Use Only Dermalogica Products as well as Retail Dermalogica Products.
